[ 17 July 2019 09:00 - 13:00] Activity 1. Fossil World

Fossil World (Fossilienwelt) In the unique Museum space, you can view in detail many of the more than 650 fossil species. Life in the sea at that time and the walk on the beach is represented by unique finds, such as shark's teeth, bones of dolphins as well as turtle shells, or a fossilized tree trunk. The star of the museum area and also the sensational discovery of Stetten is the largest pearl-fossil in the world. This pearl is not only the largest but also one of the oldest "shellfish remnants". The two digging areas offer the best conditions for all who are still full of energy after the impressions of the adventure world and want to go explore independently. Of course, you may take your findings from the digging fields with you as a reminder of this unique event.
